CasioNova and Casio Tony, we love you!

On Sunday night, Clare and I were on the hunt for somewhere to have our tea, and came accross the Lansdowne pub, offering $5 sausage and mash. After enjoying some bargain (but quality!) bangers n' mash, and one or two jugs of Victoria Bitter, the entertainment started in the bar. This entertainment was the LEGEND that is CasioNova and his sidekick, Casio Tony:

(By the way, CasioNova is the man, his little handpuppet buddy is Casio Tony!)

This guy plays a variety of Casio electronic instruments (including an electronic sax that you don't even have to blow into!) and sings a variety of songs that heavily feature penguins, Finland, Dinosaurs and of course, the world of Casio (which incidentally , fellow geeks, has apparently gone downhill since the death of their creative director in 2000).

Shortly after this pic was taken, CasioNova commenced his strip routine into white vest n' pants and knee length socks. All highly amusing!

















After a very drunken night, when we were stumbling home, a little 'friend' plopped onto Clare's neck. This friend was a GIANT COCKROACH - eeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwww! Clare was very calm about the whole situation and grabbed 'the beast' and threw him as far as she could. You'll be glad to hear I have no pictures of this.
