Boogie boarding with the boys on Bondi Beach....

Now there's some serious alliteration for you!

On the 27th Dec, me and Clare went to Bondi to meet our old chums Ben and Gemma from Fiji (remember them, blog fans?) and they bought along their new pals Mike, Mikey and John. Us 'boys' decided that as it was such a nice day, we might try our hand at surfing. However, the waves at Bondi were fierce to say the least. We had a swim and saw some kids (!) with Boogie boards, which looked like a lot of fun. For those who don't know, Boogie boards are about half-size surfboards that you lie on, as opposed to stand on, and ATTEMPT so surf. We promptly marched up the beach to the closest purveyor of beach equipment, and rented out a boogie board each for a few hours of fun, taking out the swimmers whilst at the mercy of some mighty waves. By the way, the second shot was taken after I'd just taken out the Indian fellow bent over to my right. I did duly apologise!
